Phion Treatment (Plasma pen)
This popular skin tightening treatment goes by many names including; plasma pen, fibroblast treatment and phion. The plasma pen is the world’s most most advanced, non-invasive skin tightening device. It is used target sagging or dull looking skin and treat wrinkles. The treatment creates superficial trauma to the skin to kick start the healing process, and in return, produces more collagen and elastin. The device works by delivering thermal energy in the form of plasma to target the dermis and rejuvenate skin. It is based on the creation of a series of tiny dots running alongside the tension lines on the skin. The principle involves the ionization of gases from the atmospheric air to create micro electrical discharge causing sublimation (turning solids into gas) of the excessive/sagging superficial skin layer. This process triggers an instant contraction and tightening of the skin fibers to create a lifting, remodeling and rejuvenating effect.
What to expect post treatment?
Clusters of yellowish spots up to 0.2mm in diameter will appear in the treated area and remain visible for up to 5 days. If eyelids were treated they may get swollen and a tingling sensation will be present as the skin repairs itself. No aftercare cream needs to be applied and foundation can be used to cover the treated area. All side effects should disappear within 7-10days.
After the treatment, do not:
- use aggressive hygiene products (fragrances, soaps, etc.)
- expose the treated area to direct sunlight for 2 days by any means and do wear dark sunglasses.
- Use sauna or swimming pools and sun beds for 5 days.
- Physical exertion for 5 days.
